ABOUT US
A grassroots non-profit organization, dedicated to fostering dressage in BC by encouraging rider participation, collaborating with the community, providing grants and awards, and securing funding for growth.
Dressage BC is a non-profit organization, relying on the passion and commitment of volunteers, with a core mission to nurture and advance the art of dressage in British Columbia. Guided by a vision to stimulate rider participation and educational growth within the discipline, Dressage BC actively collaborates with riders, organizations, educational events, competition organizers, and Horse Council BC to champion dressage. The organization also extends its support through grants and awards, fostering the continuous education and training of dressage enthusiasts. To further its objectives, Dressage BC raises funds through donations, membership dues, and grants, ensuring the sustained growth and promotion of this elegant equestrian discipline across the province.
We, the volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership of Dressage BC, guide the organization's development and activities without paid staff, conducting day-to-day business, with all Board members being Dressage BC members. We hold director elections annually at the AGM with year-to-year terms, and we are readily accessible for any inquiries.
